I photograph people in black and white — portrait, fashion, and beauty — and I have for twenty years, from New York to Rome and wherever the work leads.

What I care about is the moment someone stops performing for the camera and starts being seen by it. That's the frame that ends up printed large, hanging where you see it every day — the one guests ask about.
